After his affluent grandfather died, he went back to living with his father from in secret slums of this so called utopia.Jealous of his son's favour from his grandfather, his father exploited his son's capabilities. The disparity between his old life and his current was too great. The boy had to learn to survive in this neglected wasteland. All seemed hopeless until two large figures claiming that his grandfather's recommendation letter had processed and he'd be living a new life in the shining Academy. However, the damage to his personality had been done and he slowly risen the ranks as an aggressor drunk with power.- perhaps the perceived inequity of the people in the academy and the ignorance of the slums is something that contributes to his anger? But I still find it disconcerting that the slums still exists here, maybe it became a slum few years ago, like the protection or the leader died leading to disarray.... Maybe it was granddad himself?But all the more to resolve the problem of the slums then? Maybe this could relate to his bigger goal?Or just hide the slums altogether and just show the abusive relationship between the father and the son

Her family has already been ascended and she's the remainder to go upstairs. Time is wasting as you age faster on earth than space, all she wants to do is get out of the Academy. But little does she know is that maybe just maybe it might be a trap as her family might be a lure for something more sinister.So a couple of things
- is she apart of a batch of people who haven't ascended and will soon be eligible? So do we have other eligibility academies to reach space on other planets? I know it is for the other continents

Mostly in arc 1 he'd be referred to Rosenbloom because Halur gives him the nickname RB in Arc 2 when they've become friends.Reason why he looks pretty small is because he's a late bloomer (hahaha I had to make that joke I had to I had to)

A boy who had an accident and has retrograde amnesia but he doesn't let that damper his mood! all he knows is that he likes pranks and good jokes and will selectively choose his environments where he can relax.
At first he wasn't so serious about graduating but eventually he fell in love with mechanical engineering and became an extremely talented genius and rose up the ranks in the academy. In fact, he was chosen to be one of the candidates for a position (in space? A scholarship? Or a specific aerospace station? There's so much you can actually do with that since it's really important). Because of his genius, many commanders want to scout him and many students want to exploit him for furthering their grades, because everyone wants to go to space and join the overworld - great pressure from the space raceOther ideas i had was that his parents or at least one of them was a professor in the schoolSo he's pretty rich perhaps? Or it's actually one of his family members that support the academy's development just like potentially Pine's but maybe his is more spacey and Pine is more timey

Q: When will your comic be released?
A: I am working on a robot oneshot right now, most likely I will post it on Webtoons. The actual story will take some time to finish because of how intricate the storyline is.

Q: What's with the longitudinal nature of this story? Why is there no time skip for Part 2?
A: I wanted to try the novel coming-of-age route where we get to see these teenagers grow in front of the audience. Also because of my background in Psychology, I found it interesting to see how their developmental profiles lead to the individuals they become.
Q: How's the progress going so far? Are they just characters and concepts right now or do you have a plotline made?
A: Honestly, I feel like it's a zwitterion phase right now, I'm not that rudimentary in process where it's just sparse concepts anymore, but I am not that phase where you can call it a full-on webcomic yet. I have to work on the character profiles, the backgrounds, the outfit designs, the storyline in both parts. It's honestly quite a lot!

Q: Why don't you just start anyways, and develop the plotline as you go? Kind of like a weekly thing that manga artists do?
A: I have been told that a lot, and I understand that if I want to put my foot in the door, I have to put it out there. However, it would not be beneficial to me because I need the full roadmap of my story to compose it properly, or at least build a proper foundation. I have the ending planned out but the mystery lies on how everything reaches there. Having access to my characters during certain timepoints at my disposal can allow me to insert or omit aspects that I would not be able to do had I released the comic to the public. Imagine the amount of retcons if I were a Pantser, haha.

Q: Can I join your project?
A: Thank you so much for your offer! I actually do need sensitivity readers to make sure my story is not inadvertently hinging on stereotypes or microaggressions, because I will be touching on topics such as child abuse, race, discrimination, elitism, etc., so I do need a couple of other eyes. Caveat being, you will know the entire plotline and spoilers to the story. However, I don't have the money right now to commission you so, I can't really ask for your help right now.

A: Yeah, it's a Samsung S9 (G960W), 5.8 inches, 84.8 cm2 (~83.6% screen-to-body ratio).Q: Wow! Just invest in a drawing tablet 4head.

A: Two locations so far - I mainly share my progress on Instagram (@haluro23, disabled as of March 2024) and answer questions on Discord (gamer rage#6999, @haluro as of March 2024, upsetting, I know.). Also, important to note that I may not be able to reply immediately at times because I tend to unplug to be completely absorbed in my work, and then I share all my progress online. (More like forcibly dump all my progress onto my viewers XD)
